The World PowerSports Association is North America's leading sanctioning body for these ATV races, as well as snowmobile events.
The WPSA runs two types of ATV events on the PowerSports ATV Championship Tour, QuadTerrain and QuadMX. QuadTerrain tracks are specially constructed all-terrain courses created to showcase the abilities of today's finest ATVs, while QuadMX is a motocross-style course tending toward showing off speed and big air. Professional and pro-am divisions, as well as various motor classes, provide a wide range of competition and entertainment for the spectators.
