WPSA Motocross

When it comes to extreme sports, bigger, faster, and higher have always been the watchwords. So it's not entirely surprising that eventually racers would take the high-adrenaline sport of motocross racing and bring it to the next level with monster All-Terrain Vehicles. The World PowerSports Association is North America's leading sanctioning body for these ATV races, as well as snowmobile events.

The WPSA runs two types of ATV events on the PowerSports ATV Championship Tour, QuadTerrain and QuadMX. QuadTerrain tracks are specially constructed all-terrain courses created to showcase the abilities of today's finest ATVs, while QuadMX is a motocross-style course tending toward showing off speed and big air. Professional and pro-am divisions, as well as various motor classes, provide a wide range of competition and entertainment for the spectators.

It takes a considerable amount of skill to pull off high-end tricks with the bulkier ATVs, and safety is a priority with the World PowerSports Association. All riders are required to wear full protective gear, and medical teams are on standby at every event to deal with any accidents or injuries. The WPSA works hard to ensure an exciting, but safe, race for everyone involved.

Currently, WPSA events are showcased nationwide on ESPN2 through the PowerSports Entertainment brand. But there's no comparison to actually getting down to the track and witnessing these amazing races for yourself. Check out the racing schedule at www.wsaracing.com to find an event in your area, and take part in the excitement of ATV motocross today!
