Polaris Goes All Out For 2008 Racing Season

The world of competitive ATV racing just got a little bit stiffer. For the first time, Polaris has decided to go all out and throw their hat into the ring on several major races this season, providing a number of factory sponsorships. The 2008 season will be Polaris's largest race effort to date, with the company going as far as to triple the race team that it normally puts forward.

Racers should be prepared to welcome a Polaris team to the Grand National Cross Country series, the World Off-Road Championship series, the World PowerSports Association, and the ITP QuadCross this year. And, naturally, you can't be joining up in several new races without adding a few new machines to the line as well. Racers have already enjoyed successes on the Outlaw 525 IRS, and now two new quads are going to be making their racing debuts as well. The Outlaw 525 S and the Outlaw 450 MXR are also going to be ridden by Polaris racers in this ATV season.

The Polaris racing team is welcoming back some familiar faces as well as adding a few fresh ones to the roster. Doug Eichner, John Shafe, Angela Butler, and Youth Rider Caide Hunt have joined Polaris to race on the WORCS and ITP QuadCross circuits. Kevin Yoho, Bryan Baker, John Gallagher, Mike Sroka, and Todd Rothermel will be making up the various components of the GNCC racing sponsorships from Polaris. The WPSA series will feature racers Dana Creech, Jason Luburgh, and the Rath Racing team of Daryl Rath, Landon Hurst, Brock Lyons, Cody Anderson, and Jay Corey. An exciting season is just getting underway for Polaris and their talented racing teams.
