ATV Dirt Track Racing

ATV Racing has become a very popular sport, whether it be motocross, trail riding or dirt track. The sport in fact, has become so popular that women are now getting in on the action.

When you talk to ATV Dirt Track racers, they will tell you that what keeps them coming back to the dirt track, is that ATV dirt track racing requires more finesse than that of motocross. The speed is faster than in motocross and is usually a close competition. You have 20 laps to prove yourself, one little mistake in motocross probably won't cost you the race, but on the dirt track one little mistake and you go from being in 1st place to 3rd or 4th.

It seems like where ever you go and no matter who you talk to fan or rider alike, whether it be male or female, no matter how many broken bones they have had, the thrill of the sport is in their blood. ATV dirt track racing has all the thrills that racing brings, but it's more than mere racing. it is being able command a piece of machinery that you are sitting on (not in, like a race car), being able to over come that one little mistake that could leave you sitting in the dirt at the back of the pack. ATV dirt track racing is seeing that checkered flag through the dust and knowing you arose to the challenge, whether it be win, lose or draw.
